I’m Still Here

I promise I have not run away.  I am in between classes right now, and do not have much to report on my readings this week.  I have been reading the Public Relations Review, and it is worth a look.  This article about blogs and PR is very interesting.  It is clear that journalists and PR professionals believe that blogs and social media are having an effect on mainstream media.  The tide is changing.  This blog talks a lot about the 24/7 world we live in.  We have become a universe that never sleeps.  Information is available all the time and everyone has access to it.

Blogs and Twitter are now becoming the fastest way to receive news.  This post discusses how a twitter feed broke the stories of the earthquake in China.  Mainstream media cannot offer us minute by minute news.  The world is changing.  Are you keeping up?
